Ontario’s express entry human capital priorities stream is getting popular with applicants
Ontario’s Human Capital Priorities Stream has conducted five
invitation rounds since the start of 2018, including three in February
apprehending all the attention these days. This stream allows Ontario to search
for candidates with over 400 points and issue them invitation to apply for
Provincial Nominee Program. The issuance
of invitation to apply from the state adds up 600 extra points to the CRS
scores.
If we compare the statistics of 2017 and 2018 then we
understand that Human Capital Priorities Stream is taking a front foot in this
year with issuance of 1,808 invitations to apply for a provincial nomination
through the HCP in the first two months whereas In 2017, Express Entry issued
more than 80,000 invitations to apply for Canadian permanent residence,
compared to Ontario’s total allocation of 6,500 nominations, of which only a
portion is used for the HCP.
The Government of Ontario is now announcing the range of
Comprehensive Ranking System scores among selected candidates, as well as the
date range that shows when Express Entry candidates selected in each draw
entered their profiles into the Express Entry pool.
