Ontario’s express entry human capital priorities stream is getting popular with applicants


Ontario’s Human Capital Priorities Stream has conducted five invitation rounds since the start of 2018, including three in February apprehending all the attention these days. This stream allows Ontario to search for candidates with over 400 points and issue them invitation to apply for Provincial Nominee Program.  The issuance of invitation to apply from the state adds up 600 extra points to the CRS scores.
If we compare the statistics of 2017 and 2018 then we understand that Human Capital Priorities Stream is taking a front foot in this year with issuance of 1,808 invitations to apply for a provincial nomination through the HCP in the first two months whereas In 2017, Express Entry issued more than 80,000 invitations to apply for Canadian permanent residence, compared to Ontario’s total allocation of 6,500 nominations, of which only a portion is used for the HCP.
The Government of Ontario is now announcing the range of Comprehensive Ranking System scores among selected candidates, as well as the date range that shows when Express Entry candidates selected in each draw entered their profiles into the Express Entry pool.
The lowest CRS score selected through the HCP stream in 2018 has been 433 till date.
